White Currants

White Currants have the sweetest and richest flavour of all currants. The lower acidity makes them suitable for fresh eating. They add an excellent flavour to desserts, salads and syrups, sauces for poultry or pork, jellies or sorbets.
Drop a few white currants at the bottom of a glass of wine for an elegant effect.
